...as dangerous as you can get

"When I was twelve, my youth pastor gave me some Christian rock music that really changed my life. It had a major impact. It kept me focused, positive. If I listen to negative music it makes me think negative. Petra and White Cross shared testimonies during their concerts and I knew I wanted to do that with my life,” shares Kevin Young, lead singer of Disciple. “We always want to be relevant to kids, write songs that they can put themselves into, help them sing through their problems, point them to something greater. We like to put the actual gospel in our music. It isn’t something that has the potential to hurt anyone. It’s about as conservative as you can get and as dangerous as you can get.”

Disciple is part of Compassion International's Cross The Line Tour coming to Dallas on Sunday, May 18th.

Jody Rogers - The Voice

Jody Rogers’ passion for ministering to the sick began developing at a young age. An accident at the age seven sent a nail into his sciatic nerve causing him to lose the ability to lift his leg. The doctor was convinced that the condition was permanent. Being raised by God-fearing parents that believed miracles were still abundant, Jody was prayed over faithfully for a month and woke one morning with the use of both legs. At the age of ten, deafness struck. He remembers clearly his father holding his head in his hands with tears pouring down his cheeks begging God for Jody’s hearing to be restored. God said yes to that prayer.

Knowing how God worked in his life at a young age helped prepare Jody’s heart for the ministry that He had in store for him. He knew that God had something special for him to do with his life.

In 1999, Jody asked God to give him a ministry that would cause unbelievers to know beyond a shadow of a doubt there is a God who really loves them. The Lord led Jody to a lengthy fast. After his obedience God answered his prayer by giving him a unique ministry of miracles and healing. Thousands of people, from all walks of life, have listened to Jody speak God’s truth and have been blessed through miracles, answered prayers, and most importantly, salvation.

An ordained minister with World Ministry Fellowship, Jody’s anointed teaching can be seen on his television program, The Voice, which is broadcast world wide on The Word Network. He has led services in Romania, Ireland, and Mexico.

Jody Rogers is all about winning souls, healing the sick, and demonstrating the love of God through a God given gift. And being a devoted father of two he wants to see your family grow strong in the Lord. He desires to minister to you and build your faith in order for you to receive all that God has for you.

Finally Letting Go

Finally Letting Go
Find The Healing Power of Gratitude

“Gratitude has healed every area of my life,” states singer/songwriter/speaker/life coach Donna Kay. “Gratitude aligns every single cell in your body to complete harmony.”

2008 Momentum Album of the Year and three-time Gospel Music Association award winner Donna Kay faced a five-year daily debilitating struggle that almost took her life. During that time she suffered from the most severe case of chronic insomnia a person could possibly endure resulting in depression, electrifying anxiety, nonstop fear, panic attacks, nervous breakdowns, sleeping pill addiction, restless leg syndrome, post traumatic stress disorder, fatigue, low self-esteem, financial problems, divorce, the death of her parents, and two near suicide attempts.

The Dallas native shares her journey to healing with a transparent, dynamic, soulful, tell-the-truth-like-it-is, and entertaining delivery through message and music.

Moving forward with a mission to lead others, Donna Kay desires to show there is no reason to return to the hurt and pain of what has happened, but to celebrate the future of restoration and healing through gratitude.

Indieheaven.com/The Christian Independent Alliance, the leading organization for Christian independent musicians announces the winners of the 2008 MOMENTUM AWARDS. The Momentum Awards, now in its third year, are the premier award recognition program for Christian independent artists.

Fan voting and a panel selected the winners in 15 categories. Christian Radio Weekly cosponsored The 2008 Momentum Awards.

Indieheaven president, Keith Mohr states, “as the music industry continues to change and more and more artists are either staying independent or going back to their independent roots, it is important to recognize the pursuit of excellence in this growing industry. The basis for the Momentum Awards is not competition, but comrades applauding and encouraging one another to create momentum in their music missions.
